Ballarat Station Upgrade Reaches Major Milestones Ahead of 2026 Completion

The historic Ballarat Station continues its transformative upgrade, with significant new milestones advancing the project toward its 2026 completion.

A new accessible pedestrian overpass—complete with lifts and stairs on each platform has now been craned into place, marking one of the project’s most substantial achievements to date. The overpass, stairs and lifts are scheduled to open in April 2026.

As part of this upgrade, SOLIDAL products have been approved for use in the project, including our PMP U3-145 and PMP R2 large format corrugated screens. Known for their durability, consistency and architectural flexibility, these systems will help support the project’s modern, high-performance aesthetic while remaining sensitive to the station’s historic character.
